About Me

I am a gadget freak, a Right Libertarian*, a ColdFusion developer and project manager in a previous life, currently the household CTO and Mac evangelist for family and friends, in addition to my day-to-day job.

For my professional experience please visit my LinkedIn profile. If you are one of my long lost friends and would like to get in touch there’s always a way through Facebook (sorry, no links with people I’ve never met off-line or current co-workers) or a push message to my iPhone.

When it comes to social networking sites I have a few rules:

  • In general, I’m not interested in having a large social network. I don’t offer links on this site unless I find them interesting.
  • Facebook is a tool to keep in touch with my friends, I don’t see any value in having an extended network of people I don’t know. I never “friend” with acquaintances or people I don’t know from real life. No connection with current co-workers, unless they are real friends either. Don’t get offended if you’re ignored.
  • Twitter – I only follow somebody if I’m genuinely interested in what they’re saying.
  • I hate spam

About This Server

All services on this server are provided by Mac OS X Leopard Snow Leopard Server , and hosted on a Mac Mini machine.

This little beast is enough not only to run Leopard Server, but also a few web sites, mail and collaboration services for my family and friends and a handful of web apps created by me just to keep in shape with my programming skills.

Libertarian

* I am a libertarian when it comes to private life, property, economy and government in general. I don’t advocate life without governments, but I support small, lean and cheap governments. Governments should only exist to protect the rights of the citizens. That is, enforcing the law and national defense. Other than this, I believe there should be no national government created and run education, healthcare, or whatever system they create and manage “in the name of the people”. Citizens should be allowed to keep they hard earned money and spend them as they wish, including private schools and hospitals. And when it comes to private life, there’s no way I can accept interference from my or any other government in what is by definition private.
